Cathy was a kind, thoughtful and beautiful person who inspired everyone who knew her. At the age of 23 Cathy's life was cut short by a horrible disease but somehow, during her illness Cathy managed to face up to her situation, never complaining or asking 'why me?'. Cathy was a precious gift to all who knew her and she will always be in our hearts. While Cathy was ill, the St Elizabeth Hospice At Home Team provided essential support to Cathy and her family. They supported us when we needed it most, they were second to none and nothing was ever too much for them. With their support we were able to share the final days with Cathy in the familiar comfort of our own home and that made a huge difference to all of us.
